The BluFilter pressure filter from BluGarda filters and cleans your pond water in several ways. You connect a pond pump with sufficient capacity to the pressure filter. Thanks to the speed of the pressurized water and the shape of the pressure filter, a vortex flow ensures that suspended particles and sludge are separated from the water.

Two different types of filter sponges trap debris particles and break down harmful substances. Over time, a biological filter of various microorganisms develops inside the sponge. These break down harmful ammonia and nitrite into nitrate. Nitrate is an important source of nutrients for your pond plants.

Clear pond water thanks to built-in 11W UV-C lamp

Green water caused by algae becomes clear again thanks to the built-in 11-watt UV-C lamp. This boosts the cleaning capacity of the filter for your pond water. The built-in UV-C lamp exposes the flow of pond water to UV-C light, which is lethal to microorganisms such as algae. This allows the filter to effectively combat algae and ensure clear water.

Easy filter sponge cleaning thanks to built-in cleaning function

Every filter requires regular sponge cleaning. That is often a tedious task that requires completely disconnecting the filter. BluGarda's BluFilter pressure filters feature a built-in cleaning mechanism that allows you to clean and remove dirt from the filter sponges in no time.

The filter sponges are compressed inside the pressure filter, squeezing out trapped dirt. You can direct the dirty water through a separate outlet directly to the drain or to your garden plants, for example. That way, the dirty, murky water doesn't end up back in your pond. Once the filter sponges are cleaned, you simply switch the filter back to filtering mode.
